Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains what happens to the details you share with me through jahid.tech. I keep it short because I collect very little.
Who I am
jahid.tech is run by MD. Jahidul Islam ("Jahid", "I"), a web developer based in Bangladesh. I am responsible for your personal data. You can reach me at support@jahid.tech.
What I collect
Only what you choose to send me:
- Through the contact form: your name, email address, business name, current website (if you give one), your preferred call time and time zone, and your message.
- By email or WhatsApp: whatever you include in your messages.
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
Why I use it
I use your details to reply to you, arrange a call, prepare a quote and, if we work together, deliver your project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. I never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.
Who else handles it
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers contact form messages to my inbox.
- Hostinger hosts my email.
- Amazon Web Services hosts this website. Like any web server, it processes your IP address to deliver pages; I don't keep access logs.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message me there.
International transfers
I work from Bangladesh, so your details are transferred outside the UK and EU when you contact me. The transfer is necessary to answer your enquiry and to carry out any work you ask me to do.
How long I keep it
If we don't end up working together, I delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, I keep project and invoice records for as long as the law requires, usually up to 6 years.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the data I hold about you, to stop using it, or to send it to you in a portable format. Email support@jahid.tech and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the UK and unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
